About the Beaver 50th
Did you know that 2024 is a BIG milestone year for Beaver Scouts? On June 1st, we are excited to celebrate the 50th birthday of Beaver Scouts with Colonies across Canada!
Since 1974, the Beaver Scout program has brought adventure, fun and special childhood memories to youth aged 5-7, across the country. From nature walks to campfire games, sleepaway camps and building quinzhees, to crafting Beaver Buggies and more, we’re celebrating the confidence and social skills that comes with being a Beaver Scout.

Join us on June 1st!
To celebrate this amazing birthday, councils across the country will be holding local celebrations on June 1st, 2024.
These events will be run all across country, with an amazing time for Beavers and Scouters, one and all. To cap it off, a virtual campfire will be run across the country where livestreams from each events will be held.
